tonight's movie choice. . .

The flaw in the Death Star of course *is* explained. Several films later.

The plots of all three films were s***e. The whole "Age of Sail" chase sequence in the 2nd film was ludicrous.

They're not as dull as the prequels. At least they're decent fun.

I liked how they just scaled up and decided to make it inside a planet after their moon size Death Star was blown up several times.

" It will f***ing work, just you wait and see...."

Like that guy who kept building castles in the swamp in Monthy Pythons holy grail.

Michael Clayton. Awesome stuff all round. Wonderful grown up film.

George Clooney's best film that. Belting movie.

Watched Eden Lake again tonight...

Watched it first time about 10 years ago..

It's proper gritty as hell with some fine performances in it from some of the kids. Forgot Thomas Turgoose was in it

E.T. The Extra Terrestrial. Don’t know if anyone’s seen it.

Still perfect. Few things ever traumatised me as a child like the image of that little guy when he’s dying.

It’s a boy and a dog movie.

The alien is his dog.
I’m not dismissing the film by the way, it’s just that you see these ideas in stories repeated.

I've started watching the Fast and Furious films from the start. Guilty pleasure and all.

F&F - 8/10, solid romp that sets up the characters. Suffers from not having a big bad.

2F2F - 3/10. No Diesel, Walker wasn't a leading man, Tyrese is annoying, baddy is terrible, wastes Eva Mendes.

There are only seven stories.

Great fun. Nonsense though but needed something to replace those 90’s Bruckheimer flicks.

Snyder set to announce deal with HBO Max to show his cut of Justice League. It can’t be any worse than what we got served up.

HBO rumoured to be keen on him continuing the JL as a series too

I think I lasted 10 minutes. Very not enjoyable

Came very close to doing the same. That 'music'...

In the end stuck with it. Sandler was good but the story was pretty s*** and there wasn't a single person to root for.
