tonight's movie choice. . .

Recommended Posts

Preferred the loudest voice tv series

Thought it was much better

I saw a trailer for that months ago but how have they don't it without featuring Megyn Kelly?

Uncut Gems. Terrific. Really deserved more Oscars love.

Great film, Sandler was terrific and I'm in love with Julia fox

Exhausting to watch though

Agree with all that, incredibly fast paced and frenetic and kept you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

Sandler was fantastic and Fox is lovely.

Stan and Ollie. Not bad. John C Reilly is good. Coogan is decent but his performance feels more of an impression.

Yeah I felt the same about Coogan's performance, he seemed to be pretty universally lauded for it tho

Watched Amy last night. Typically brilliant from Asif Kapadia but christ, it’s bleak.

No one really stepped up to help her did they? Or at least no one who could help in a meaningful way. Really sad.

Yeah, Parasite is really, really good

Saw Jo Jo Rabbit last night - takes a little getting used to but is pretty good all things considered

Yeah it's a good film but so very tragic.

Watched the one about Whitney Houston recently - another really sad story of someone just milked for money and never properly looked after.

Emma.

typical Austen period drama adaptation
