and I was going to have a re-listen to a few others, Prince Buster, Gladiators, U-Roy, Abyssinians etc. to remind myself about how ska-ish (rather than roots, dub etc.) they are. The truth is though that ska was really a genre that was best served by singles so most of what you need is on compliations rather than proper albums. That Trojan Story one in particular gives you more or less everything you will ever want.

One copy will suffice - I'll 'check they're ok' on the computer before handing them over

If you're after more modern, kinda punkier ska - the Voodoo Glow Skulls and the Pietasters.
