Earl Hafler Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 (edited) My last few tips have gone in so i'll post this early. Paddy Power Gold CupDon't Push It is a confident choice to get a place at the very least. It's a shortish price at 5-1 ( not my usualy type of tip ) but i think he's got a stone in hand and will go on to win a Group race at Cheltenham or Aintree later in the season. He'll be ridden by McCoy, has good course form and had a winning pipe opener over hurdles a couple of weeks ago.On the stats side, the PPGC is usually won by a second season chaser from a southern stable with a course win under it's saddle. Ticks on all the boxes for Don't Push It.Joint co favs Abragante and Granit Jack probably won't even make the cut and are really poorly priced. Hennessy Cognac Gold CupStill three weeks away but Alderburn is cracking value at 25-1. The horse won at Newbury last season and is a class act who is still well handicapped.
