CarraLegend Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 ooh we've got a live one here. top class striker brought in from abroad who actually is a bit tasty? love him already. He's brilliant, I love him. They were s***e scared of him, loved seeing him standing up to their yard dogs at the back aswell, showed he wont be f***ed with.
Hassony Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 He is still getting used to the english defenders, but you can easily see that he is going to be a great player for us
IgPig Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 He's brilliant, I love him. They were s***e scared of him, loved seeing him standing up to their yard dogs at the back aswell, showed he wont be f***ed with. Impressed me a lot did that
stressederic Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 That little pat on the cheek he gave Terry was almost as satisying as his goal. I really hope he said "Whatever you say sweetheart" in Spanish.
StevieC Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 ooh we've got a live one here. top class striker brought in from abroad who actually is a bit tasty? love him already. don`t you dare. Don`t you f***ing dare big him up.
smithdown Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 He look like he's loving it. The reception for his goal as he made his way back was something special as well. Must have been a cracking buzz for the lad to slot that and trot back towards The Kop on his home debut.
Guest Sabre Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 That little pat on the cheek he gave Terry was almost as satisying as his goal. I really hope he said "Whatever you say sweetheart" in Spanish. I just loved how he deliberately went over to get in Terry's way when the ball was in the air. He knew he couldn't win it but he was quite happy to get himself in the way to piss off the opposition - I love that kind of thing. He shouldn't have even bothered to face the ball. Should have just faced Terry and let it hit him on the back
Billy Dane Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 That little pat on the cheek he gave Terry was almost as satisying as his goal. I really hope he said "Whatever you say sweetheart" in Spanish. Probably asking if he could sh*g Terry's ma as well.
Stevie H Posted August 19, 2007 Author Posted August 19, 2007 That little pat on the cheek he gave Terry was almost as satisying as his goal. I really hope he said "Whatever you say sweetheart" in Spanish.at the time i said 'he's played against centrebacks who stick their finger up your a***' so john terry's a pussycat. this boy's damned good.
chrisbonnie Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 yeah, the shush he gave Terry was something to behold, and that finish, i damn near came in my boxers thats now the second week running is had one of the opposition centre halves in his back pocket, poor oul Laursen last week ,and now ben Haim this week
oran Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 he was allmost briliant today.there were two times he could have passed to kuyt who was clear but didnt see him.other then that...strong,quick,excellent first touch.he took control over some very difficult (sp) balls.ben-haim looked like he is going to p**s his pants every time torres faced him.and the way he stood up to terry :-)i f**king love him!!!!!chelsea have a great defensive line and you could see they are worried because of him.
GusMcLean Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 To the tune of the Animals go in two by two A slightly faster version of this:http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=XNl7WyLbtvg&...ted&search= they came to take our Luis away Tara TaraFernando came the other way hurrah hurrahFernando said no to the mancsill rather play for the five times champsand we all get blind drunk when torres scores a goal Fernando Torres came from Spain, Ole, Ole,He came to make us great again, Ole, Ole,The Spion Kop will roar him on,He scores the goals and he scores for fun,And we all get blind drunk when Torres scores a goal...... He really has the speed and class hurrah, hurrahAll he needs is a damn good pass hurrah, hurrahHe’s quick, he’s slick, he’s got a good trickAlong with Xabi he'll make us tickAnd we’ll all get blind drunk when Torres scores a goal
Maldini Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 It's weird that he looks like he's not running fast, but he's actually motoring, he eats up the ground, it's like something out of a fake Nike ad.
Guest RedIsMyColour Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 He tore Ben Haim a new a****** when he skinned him. We finally have another gamebreaker in the team alongside Gerrard.
Cam Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 The unsung highlight of the match was him trying to sneak up behind Cech.
Guest Sabre Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 The unsung highlight of the match was him trying to sneak up behind Cech. That was genius
Barnesy_10 Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 The unsung highlight of the match was him trying to sneak up behind Cech. quality that was.... very Henry-esque He just oozes class.... his first touch is something else and you could tell the Chelsea defence were s***ting themselves... He ran past where I was sat at one point and hardly made a sound, but was lightning quick.. He really did make the crowd buzz whenever he got the ball..
stressederic Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 I wish he'd be whistling nonchalantly as he did it.
Owen1978 Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 (edited) Like i said on the summer transfer thread a while back "Come on we all have been starved of a world class striker for a while and have taken crouchy to our hearts but next season with torres you will see what it means to have truly a world class forward!" Jul 15 2007 Its great to be right! Edited August 19, 2007 by Owen1978
oran Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 yep.i remember people here doubting his ability...i was going on about him for about 4-5 years.thought he will be the next shevchenko (milan).
Lee W Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 (edited) Very early days but we may have finally replaced Owen. He had Terry visibly rattled which is no mean feat and his all-round game looks v.good. Sublime finish for the goal. Edited August 20, 2007 by Lee W
Sion Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 yep.i remember people here doubting his ability...i was going on about him for about 4-5 years.thought he will be the next shevchenko (milan). most of the people doubting him were the tevez muppets.
Cunny Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 stil too early for him getting the Dalglish/Fowler chant
