John am Rhein Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 Man U will lose the semi-final because they subconsciously can't cope with the prospect of us beating them in the final.
Lee W Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 No offence but why is everyone so f***ing paranoid about Chelsea and/or United ? We have a very good record recently in one-off cup games against both. Bring 'em on....
Tosh Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 1977 We were going for the treble And we lost the Cup Final to a deflected goal off Jimmy Greenhof. Gutted, I was 2007, Utd are going for the treble. Question is.... who might play the role of Jimmy greenhof? Will he be wearing red or blue?

Questions based on the premise of Man U reaching the European Cup final are moot.

We have a very good record recently in one-off cup games against both. Bring 'em on....no offense but we're not a complete team we have an awesome defense, potentially awesome central midfield 3 some and average wings/creative players/strikers that's what concerns me, creating and putting away our chances - we could have 60-70 % of the possession but we need to convert that to goals

Our recent goals record doesn't suggest we have trouble scoring at all.

Flight Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 I can tell you what Maureen and Taggart are thinking : Maureen : 'Oh s***, anyone but them in the semi.' Taggart : 'Well, thank fekk we don't play them in the semi.'

Tosh Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 So, we have, all being well, 5 teams left in the competition Liverpool - we won it 5 timesManU - who won it twiceChelsea - who've not won itBayern - 4 timesAC - 6 times Who said that the Champions League doesn't favou Europes elite clubs?
growler Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 I would think the game may be moved to the new wembley? Gotta make sense... I do think it will be moanrinho's cup this season. I hope not, but would prefer them to the scum. Hate the thought of fungus being 'immortalised' for winning the thing twice.
