Gomez Posted December 3, 2006 Author Posted December 3, 2006 What about me? I'd make a good owner. How much are you worth?
stressederic Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 How much are you worth? £2.50 and a kitkat.
Gomez Posted December 3, 2006 Author Posted December 3, 2006 £2.50 and a kitkat.Have you considered Everton?
stressederic Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Have you considered Everton? What would I spend the £2.50 on?
Guest Portly Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 I don't want any of them - I am perfectly happy with the Moores/Parry régime. However I voted for Dubai because I think they are less likely to interfere with the way the club is run.
Gunga Din Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 i dont know how anyone can have an opinion on any of the potential buyesr without looking in detail at all the offers. the only one i definately dont want is Morgan, but dont know enough about the others to form an opinion
Spike Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 plus the irony factor of them irish horseracing fellas selling the mancs to glazer after fergusons pennypinching claim and we get the owners of godolphin
Gunga Din Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 i thought the Dubliners in question were these fellas. how disappointed am i
Michael Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 (edited) I don't like the idea of any political ownership. P.s I voted for the Dubliners, but the current poll results show them as having no votes. This poll is reminiscent of the recent Mexican elections Edited December 4, 2006 by Michael

Michael Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 So Kraft is definitely out of the running as he would have been my preferred option based on the way he has handled his American sports franchises?
DonRafa Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 So Kraft is definitely out of the running as he would have been my preferred option based on the way he has handled his American sports franchises? Voted for DIC, they seem the pick of the bunch on offer. To say the Maktoums know how to run a business successfully would be the understatement of the year . Also, I trust Moores and Parry to deliver our club to an outfit that will be properly mindful of our heritage, history and traditions - after all, they are our greatest assets.Without them we'd be as soulless as Chelsea.
Nebraska Red Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Without them we'd be as soulless as Chelsea. too late, just seen Liverpool souls for sale on EBAY, and they are not that expensive. 400,000 on sale at a thousand quid each.
kacangpool Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 I wouldn't mind Dubai or Gilett (or Kraft for that matter). If Dubai Holdings allows the present board to go on with the running of the club, it could be a good thing especially since the non-interference policy with managers will still be adhered to, Rafa and the present management have mutual respect each other. He has been well supported by the board especially with regards to the Noel White issue. Otherwise the Americans will do, so long as they don't ruffle Rafa's feathers.
R A Softlad Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 i thought the Dubliners in question were these fellas. how disappointed am i And when Wayne got home on Friday Night... as drunk as drunk could be...
mercury Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 can only rely on word of mouth here. both Gillet and Dubai seem to be good people, in particular on the non-interference into team biz. On financial muscle, it has to be Dubai. Not expecting (or requiring) them to let us spend Chelsea style (not good for the Club anyway), rather to esnure our financial stability during the building of the new stadium and knowing that there is the ability there for a nice supplement to war chest when needed. Morgan - cannot trust him, not the least on ground share.
