I've never quite understood the hassle and stick that Parry gets nor our great Chairman.

Seems some people are never satisfied - you just have to glance across the other clubs in the 'Premier' league at the moment to see how lucky we are to have 2 fellas like this that don't get carried away, have their heads screwed on and won't be fleeced.

There are plenty of other chairmen and directors of other clubs that have done nothing but get their clubs into deep deep s***.

I think ours are and have been doing a great job for many years and long may then continue.

I think i't because, you couldn't buy the goalies third kit in the gas station, in Little River County, Arkansas

Liverpool under Moores and Parry have been far from perfect but they never took their eye off the ball or were tempted to go the Leeds, Chelsea (under Bates) or now Newcastle way. It is silly to compare our spending ability to that. In the case of Chelsea under Bates, Leeds and Newcastle it results in massive debts with disastrous consequences unless there is an Abramovich waiting to take over.

Excuse me ? When have I said their relationship is strained ?

I've criticised 'Parry' in the past, but I can't comment on how he and Rafa get on.

FWIW, and people are determined to keep this fight ongoing, so I'll oblige :

I'm delighted with LFC at the moment, and think we've had a great summer and I haven't felt this optimistic since 1988. I've still got real concerns about the people that run the club, but having said that, feel that a good job has been done in the transfer market this summer, so some credit must be due to all concerned.

There.

some good quotes in what Rafa said there. You can tell he's excited about his squad. I liked this bit

"Pako Ayesteran and I were talking about how strong our squad is compared to other teams. We think we have a lot of new players now who can really play."

and this

"...and now it will be different again with more pace and quality."

"....you will see a different style of play because we have a different style of player."
