you want ginger ale, not 7 up.

 

1 Bottle of red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Rioja, Zinfandel, Shiraz)

1 Lemon cut into wedges

1 Orange cut into wedges

1 Lime cut into wedges

2 Tbsp sugar

Splash of orange juice

2 Shots of gin

1 Cup of sliced strawberries or raspberries

1 Small can of diced pineapples (with juice)

4 Cups ginger ale

 

we did this one not too long ago and took a big jug of it to the pool. i slept well that night. we used a Shiraz but we used malibu instead of gin. rather sweet, but good.

apparently the secret is make it the night before & leave it overnight in the fridge, for the booze to soak into the fruit (not Jonsey)

another good idea is to soak the fruit in the hard alcohol the night before you make up the sangria.

Sangria makes you very drunk - very, very quickly .............

 

Sure does. I drank a litre a night for 3 weeks in June and picked up gastritis, now I have several ulcers

Add a bottle of cava to make it fizzy - lethal.
