Aldo’s record 1987 - John Aldridge scored in his tenth consecutive League game, including one from the previous season, netting from the spot as we beat Queens Park Rangers 4-0 at Anfield. He made a total of 249 first-team appearances, notching 44 times, helping us to claim the UEFA Cup, FA Cup, League Cup, UEFA Super Cup and FA Charity Shield before moving to Charlton Athletic for £2.5m in August 2004. Two-ton Rushie 1987 - Ian Rush bagged his 200th and 201st reds goals as we beat Queens Park Rangers 2-1, with ex-red Sammy Lee
