Happy birthdays 1937 - Right-half Gordon Milne was born in Preston. He played 282 times for us after signing for a club record £16,000 from Preston North End in August 1960, netting eighteen times and winning the League title twice, as well as the Second Division championship before joining Blackpool in May 1967.
