Divock at the treble 2015 – Forward Divock Origi bagged a hat-trick, his first reds goals, as we thumped Southampton 6-1 in a League Cup Fifth Round tie on the south coast. Future red Sadio Mané had given the home side a very early lead but a brace from Daniel Sturridge put us ahead. Jordon Ibe was also on target after the break as we headed towards Wembley. 2018 – Divock Origi pounced on a Jordan Pickford error to hand us victory in the Anfield derby in the sixth minute of second-half stoppage time, having already hit the crossbar from close range late in the game. A record for Rushie 1992 - Ian Rush scored his first ever goal at Old Trafford to put us 2-0 up following Don Hutchinson’s opener. It was his 287th reds goal in all competitions, breaking Roger Hunt’s club record. However, the game ended all square after Mark Hughes’ second-half brace, two of his nine goals past us. Rushie went on to bag a total of 346 goals for the reds. Four for Forshaw for sure 1924 - Dick Forshaw struck all our goals in a 4-1 defeat of Sheffield United at Anfield, with left-half Tom Bromilow playing his 200th reds game. Billy Gillespie struck the last of his seven
