    Terry Mac signs on 1974 – Terry McDermott signed from Newcastle United for £175,000. He struck 81 times in 329 reds games, helping us to three European Cups, four League titles, two League Cups, UEFA Super Cup and two FA Charity Shields. He scored 25 times in 61 first-team appearances while at Anfield, following his British record £2.9m signing from Derby County in July 1991.
