Agree that he's probably not coming back but from what I remember he was more 'pass and move' than anyone in our side when he played (too infrequently I'd say) last year. With static players not moving into space it's always going to look bad when that type of quick pass doesn't come off I was really looking forward to seeing him fully fit this season and was gutted he was loaned nonsensically back to Italy - I still am... Having said that adapting to a Hodgsonesque team would have been too much for him but now under Kenny and with more runners getting consistently into the box I think he could have been a great asset I'd be delighted to see him back here.

I think Soto is fine as backup. He's done a decent job and is our main threat from attacking corners. Hardly on a big wedge either.

Agree with this but I'd say even if we were offered 4-5 million for him I wouldn't sell (from my memory he was signed for about a million?)
