Adidas are whingeing because globally, as far as the Premiership goes their only flagship team is a fading Chelsea - and we saw how popular THEY were in preseason when 8 blokes and 3 dogs turned up to watch them in Malaysia. Apart from that, they have Stoke City, where no-one will look at the shirts anyway because the ball is always up in the air and Swansea City, who, while being a good footballing team, I suspect aren't so much struggling to sell shirts globally as struggling to sell shirts as far away as the West side Toll of the Severn Bridge. So, Adidas' only jewel in the crown is West Bromwich Albion. Hmmmmm ..... Perhaps the Lesbian Owl can do some marketing for them? Fact is, it is Adidas who have f***ed up, not us - especially if (near) future TV deals means clubs can negotiate their own digital distribution rights. Having said all THAT, Warrior HAVE to get the first set of kits spot on right, and that we'll have to wait and see on.
