I had some hopes for it when it launched but it can't be enforced on clubs, the politics of it doesn't work. Anything will have to be adopted by clubs or football and sport is just subject to local law. It would have to be that mentally radical to make a difference. As for title stripping, Rangers/Sevco were breaking football law and the actual law with their tax schemes and the SFA have said there won't be any retrospective title stripping. They did it in Italy with Juve but there's no way I would trust the FA to take such action in a comparable context, never mind Uefa.

I just don't like it cos him choosing PSG makes a mockery of the history and culture of the game - the great players crave the best chance of winning the big trophies. *If* PSG wins the CL then fair play to him, he has been fully vindicated. If this precipitates a rebalancing of power in European football, then we'll all reflect on a huge turning point for the European game. But until such a time, it kinda stinks, and this particular iteration of transfer fee inflation is absurd. We all though that with Lentini but this is f***ing mental.
