Agreed. Bring in Havertz and send Keita the other way. He'll be the creative force in midfield. And Werner can interchange with any of our strikers. Origi has been poor of late but his sale will generate good money.

I have watched the preseason games. Besides Brewster and, maybe, Larouci I have not seen anyone from the youth team who could potentially replace a starter if one were to get injured. I still think we need another striker who can slot in with the starters. We definitely need coverage for left full back and possibly for the right as well.

The referee was atrocious today. Barca should have had 4 or 5 yellow cards. All his calls came against us. However, Gomez looked unfit and should have come off when Coutinho came off. At the end there was neither any attack nor defense from the right back. Gini was anonymous from the start. I cannot understand why a striker was not introduced into the game when we needed to score goals. Another change that could have been made was that we could have reverted to a 442 formation. The sad thing is that this was a winnable game. We were the better team for long stretches. The correct substitutions were not done unfortunately.
