Got a new MBP yesterday. Set it up at home from fresh - didn't bother doing from backup as I'll selectively do that over time.
Problem is it's f***ing synced with my work machine now - so all of my work files are on my home machine. I don't want that, I want separate machines. I deleted all of the desktop files last night (didn't empty trash) and they're all gone from my work machine.
Something to do with iCloud?
How do I separate them? I can do a factory reset if needed since the new one has almost nothing on it yet
