Oh aye he's part of the club alright. Whereas Kuenssberg comes over as someone desperate to be allowed in and become part of it. Like her broadcasts are auditions. She needs to ingratiate and kiss a***, Peston's already a member.

It's not about those individuals, it's about the news media institutions they work for and how the purpose of those institutions is to reinforce the existing power structures. The likes of Peston and Kuennssberg wouldn't be employed in their roles if they didn't fulfil that function.

It's the worst government in living memory, a crowd of corrupt tory scum bags, do whatever they feel like cause they have an 80 seat majority. Which in this case is getting one of their corrupt mates off the hook and lowering the bar so they can all profit in the same corrupt fashion.

"I am sick of people skirting around calling this out for what it is: corruption. Paterson was receiving money from a private company to ask questions on its behalf. Roberts was found to have made repeated and unwanted sexual advances toward a young staffer. Both of them should be gone – neither are fit to serve as MPs. Their continued presence in the Tory party is scandalous. It will further undermine public faith in politics at a time when we should be trying to restore decency and honesty.
But the rot starts at the top. We have a prime minister whose name is synonymous with sleaze, dodgy deals and hypocrisy. This is the man who allows his ministers to breach with impunity the codes that govern public life; who thinks it should be one rule for him and his chums, another for everyone else. With his every action he signals to his MPs: do what you like. There are no consequences."

Better from the leader of the opposition.

Not really going to hit home where it hurts though in the Guardian, who've been his cheerleaders since he started campaigning.

It is what will bring them down eventually, it always is, they just can't help themselves, but they'll go on wreaking untold damage in the meantime.

Starmer can f*** off. He's overseeing a gang of racists suspend everyone slightly to the left. Any Labour politician who voted against an inquiry into the Iraq war is a hypocrite complaining now. But at least it shows their racism. Bombing innocent Iraqis seems fine to them, breaking parliament rules isn't.

The Daily Mail front page might have spooked em. I mean if your own lot are going with that headline.

They really needed this reform for Johnsons sake. Next in line for investigation would be been that clown at No.10 for his refurbishment of the place.

"Tory MP Angela Richardson reinstated as PPS less than 24 hours after being dismissed for rebellion on Paterson vote

The Conservative MP Angela Richardson has been reinstated as PPS (parliamentary private secretary) to Michael Gove, the levelling up secretary. She was dismissed last night from the post after she abstained last night in the vote on the Owen Paterson motion, instead of voting for the Andrea Leadsom in line with the three-line whip."

Hilarious - f***ing useless, aren't they?

The Mail was still dishonest. The headline said "MPs" when not a single member of the opposition benches voted for the Leadsom amendment

I don't think it'd just be the recent refurbishment.

His time as London Mayor was littered with rumours of this kind of thing.

Allegedly.
