I think I just watched it implode in the last episode I saw. A commentary on itself about being too cynical.

 

It's the one where Stan just hears everything as crap and his parents split up.

If it is, at least Stone and Parker have the good sense to end it before its legacy is tainted.

 

Its not as funny or clever as it was and with only Trey Parker writing and directing it for the last 4 years, you get the feeling hes got bored with it.

He's been doing it on his own pretty much from the start, Matt Stone's input is minimal. They've said it's not the end by the way.
