You have definitely got the wrong impression of it there. That's almost the exact same description I used for the first couple of episodes of Fringe as well, its now easily my favorite TV show by an absolute mile.

The event looks promising

 

It does - been hoping for a new series of that type to come along since Lost finished, and enjoyed the double episode last week.

 

Quite a few of those types of actors and actresses who have been in big films or TV series without playing the biggest parts like Blair Underwood, Laura Innes and Clifton Collins who was in Capote. I liked that film 'Just Cause' Underwood was in during the 90s with Sean Connery and Larry Fishburne where you think he's been falsely imprisoned because of his colour, but then he turns out to be the actual murdering lunatic after all - it was a good twist I didn't see coming!

 

And I confess to quite enjoying Desperate Housewives when the Mrs has it on...
