i have to disagree, it is so cool they lifted Johns voice and then added George's guitars, it is a Beatles song from the end days

Dom fernow - Prurient - has just released a new one. I really wish I liked more of his Prurient stuff - Vatican Shadow is ace - the packaging and everything on the releases is excellent, takes Factory Records to new levels

Its not the best Beatles song obviously but I like it.

Funny that with all the audio technology advancement it's one of the worst sounding Beatles songs I've heard.

I like the song, but the video directed by Peter Jackson is bl00dy awful - in particular the jokey stuff they show Lennon doing throughout. Just odd, especially considering the way they're selling the whole thing as a tribute to him.

Reviews the single. Perhaps heard it before the release? Mentions the technical side. Critiques an actual legend. An open-to-interpretation suggestion that he was privy to Lennon's thoughts just before the murder. A typical 'he can't help himself' bigger hint that he knew him well enough to miss him & call him Johnny.
