Promising Young Woman

really deserved the screenplay and best actress oscars, and cinematography was excellent too.
Took my mind off failing to win at Old Trafford again

Ive never seen dances with Wolves, I'm 44, should I?

I remember it being OK but then I'm not sure if I've seen it since I saw it at the cinema.

It was long - think that was the last film I saw at the cinema that had an intermission halfway through.

Definitely worth watching to see the film that won the 1991 best picture Oscar ahead of Goodfellas. If only to wonder how.

We watched Rocks last night.

Really good and superb performances from the kids.

Been wanting to see this for a while - where did you see it?

Edit - it's on Netflix, isn't it?

L.A. Confidential.

Hugely rewatchable. Top three Russell Crowe movies, top two Guy Pearce movies, probably top three Kevin Spacey too. And James Cromwell is fantastic in it. And that's without mentioning Kim Basinger, Danny De Vito and the soundtrack. Brilliant film.

Finally got round to Nomadland, thought it was excellent. Didn't know that they had people playing themselves in it. Read a bit on Bob after it, what a great fella.

Have you seen The Rider at all? Same director, the back story is absolutely mind-blowing and it is just as good as Nomadland
