Glad to see City smashing Brighton tonight, the Everton game probably just saved a lot of wasted hope. Hope they win every game.

Jurgen would look pretty comical if he was bald, I think he’d be managing in the German 3rd division.

I like a lot I read about Arne Slot, but he’s just so incredibly bald. It reminds me of Homer delivering Carls brilliant presentation on nuclear power, but nobody listening because his hair had fallen out. I’m being deeply prejudiced, but I wish he had some hair somewhere. And it’s already a 12:30 match so the perfect time.

Wasted is right and Jones in his place further forward after his form since his return makes no sense to me. Need Nunez and Salah to take their chances. If they do that I think we win.

He has a good CV but it feels to me like Dutch coaches coming from the Eridsvie have been a disaster in England.

O’Neil has done a great job with Wolves this season but he needs to show a much larger body of work to have a chance at a top job. The problem is that all the names that get mentioned have either not managed at the highest level yet or have failed at the highest level. Klopp, Guardiola and Ancelotti are in their own category, anyone else is either up and coming or a retread.

Doesn’t seem to be much Emery chat but he probably has a better CV than all the other candidates being mentioned. He’s won loads and overachieved everywhere except Arsenall, plus his style of play is entertaining. My issue with De Zerbi is Brighton were already overachieving under Potter who failed badly at Chelsea.

They shouldn’t make the rules they should just apply them, it’s bonkers how much power they seem to have and how little accountability. It’s a recipe for disaster. Their refusal to make their discussions public said it all.

Jota needs to play as the striker now, that much is clear.

Win the next two everything looks different but there needs to be a big step up in performance.
