I don’t understand Atalanta deserved to win rubbish. No they didn’t. we were that bad. Fitness wasn’t the issue - virgil And Macca sure. The rest? Had plenty in the tank from this season. i don’t see how we get 9 points in next 3 games. No incisive passes or movement. And giving the ball backwards every time. Just bizarre. it’s like Rodgers end of days. Passing for the sake of it. No drive. With players coming back fresh and fit, we’ve gotten worse.

So sad to see us end the season with a whimper. I say it again, we aren’t even trying.

Just put on a show. Hit the target, defend well, put together passages of play, don’t let Virgil and konate pass it between themselves. Minutes for Jota and Trent and szob to get them back up to speed for league games. do most of that and we could win by enough to get us through. we won there 5-0 last time. We only need 4-0 or 5-1 this time.

We’ve had Kelleher play more than Ali, Robbo and Trent miss mass tranches and Matip replaced by quansah. He also lost Milner/hendo/fab. All better 6’s than we have had this season. Salah has had a massive drop off this season. Hate to say it, he looks done. start of the season would’ve taken top 3 and a cup. We got that. at least pressure off now. Hopefully we see the kids a bit more. i feel for Klopp, I get why he called it, palace game broke me. So few people knew, who was the leak??

I disagree. City, United, Arsenal, spurs - all when they’ve been chasing a game you can see it. They don’t casually pass it around at the back when losing on 70th minute. You see the pressure go on and stay on. Most of the squad have had rest. Trent, konate, robbo, szob, jones, salah, jota, Nunez, gakpo - no excuses for fatigue. they let Klopp and us down. I didn’t see 100% commitment and we’ve gotten to expect that.

6 shots on target. Just not good enough. how much time spent increasing the pass count at the back just to hoof it nowhere, or to release the pressure on their goal. hope the pressure gone and we get minutes into the kids for rest of the season.
